The Murid disciples are once again proving the saying “ many hands make light work” putting into practice one important aspect of the teachings in the philosophy of the Shaykh: self-autonomy, and financial independence- that he first set in motion when he planned to build the mosque of Diourbel, by requesting each disciple to bring his or her own contribution in order to start the project.
