An icon of Islam and the Muridiyya in the sense he was someone of all avail to anyone,a good father and friend, a confident and good listener and always ready to bring his input anywhere he was needed for the dissemination of the religion of ALLAH (SWT), the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the teachings of his servant Khadimu Rassul.
He devoted his entire life to the service of the Islamic Umma, specially the Murid community no matter where its members are. He was seen everywhere with leaders of all Senegalese religious brotherhoods. So many testimonies attested to his readiness, promptitude and diligence regarding services and favored he rendered to so many a people.He was an archetype, a reference in the community of believers he served; he was a valiant defender of Islam, Murridiyya core values of “liguey ak jaamu yalla” “work and worship” ;“Jarign ak jarigne” “be useful and helpful to others” so on and so forth.
One can not finish enumerating his out of the norm human qualities without mention his spiritual loftiness and high degree of faith in the WILL of ALLAH (SWT), Master of the Universe he would highly praise and thank in every beat of heart even in his most difficult moments in life as would do a faithful who endure and are patient with ALLAH (SWT)
Daara Sopey Cheikhoul Khadim members and sympathizers, the Islamic community in New York and in the US, as well, the Murid Diaspora are presenting their condolences to the bereft family, the Muslim community and the Murid community and will be reading Qur’an for the peaceful rest of his soul in the company of the bliss in ALLAH (SWT) loftiest Heaven.
